Art Nouveau Sterling Silver and Enamel Box
First, I was taken with the vibrant colors of the enamel on the lid of this box. Then, I was enamored with the three-footed design. It's certainly eye-catching, don't you think?
This antique box was made in England in 1905 by William Hair Haseler for Liberty & Co. It is fully hallmarked with his initials (WHH), the anchor, the lion, and the "f" for the year.
I've polished it up a bit with a cloth, but I've left patina around the legs and such. You can certainly polish it more if desired.
It measures 2.25" wide and 1.5" tall. It weighs 44.25 grams. It's lovely as a decorative object, or as a place to store some keepsakes or jewelry.
