Antique Sterling Silver Ring Box

This exquisite antique silver box was found in the gunroom (!) of a prominent San Francisco family. It was originally purchased by the grandfather in London.

It was made hand made by Asprey & Co in 1911. It's fully hallmarked with the company name, the lion, the leopard head, and "q" signifying the year.

I had a very talented local woman convert this box into a ring box, which can house 4 rings. The rusty red velvet is such a great color with the sterling.

It measures 3.25" x 2.75" x 1.25" and weighs 112.85. This would be lovely on a table, in a curio, on a stack or books, or given as a gift to a loved one.
