Oh, how I love finding old, hand-made boxes! This beauty was crafted in the 1920s. It's from a multi-generation family in San Francisco, and it's likely that it was made by Gump's. It's hallmarked "Sterling 950."

The interior and bottom are a lovely deep wood. I think it's a perfect little jewelry box!
